The facilities provided by this hospital includes inpatient and outpatient services, specialists in altitude sickness, X-rays, dental healthcare, eye clinic, first aid services, and maternity care. This hospital is fully staffed with highly trained and professional locals living in the area.

3.   Phaplu Hospital

Phaplu Hospital is located in the Solu Dudhkunda municipality, which is situated in the southern region of the Solukhumbu district, which is one of the more densely populated areas in this area. This hospital was also the venture of volunteers from overseas, mainly from New Zealand, and it used to be staffed by volunteers doctors and paramedical staff from New Zealand. In 1985, the Phaplu Hospital came under the Nepal government’s control and hence was made the district hospital for the Solukhumbu district.
